Bio

Hand to FootI have been exhibiting my artwork since 1990, and have been illustrating professionally since 1991. I worked as an illustrator and graphic designer in the editorial art department of a daily newspaper for six years, taught art and photography classes to high school students, and taught graphic design, digital imaging and typography classes at the college level. I currently work part time as an interpretive docent at a (rather famous) house museum.

I received my Bachelor of Fine Arts degree as a non-traditional student, and finished at the top of my graduating class at the age of forty. While there, I met my husband who taught art, clay and art education. I have full-grown twin daughters and live in southwestern Pennsylvania.
